Abstract
Schizophrenia is one of the mental disorders characterized by disorganization of mind, feelings and behaviors. The treatment of schizophrenia is antipsychotic drug. This study aims to determine the use of first and second generation antipsychotics and the cost of treatment for schizophrenic outpatient BPJS in dr. Iskak hospitals Tulungagung. The method is a retrospective descriptive with a view at the medical record and cost of schizophrenic patients who underwent outpatient in RSUD dr.Iskak in Tulungagung. The results obtained 97 medical record data of patients BPJS schizophrenic outpatient in dr. Iskak hospitals Tulungagung. These medical record data were taken on the basis of the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria is the primary diagnosis of schizophrenic patients and receiving antipsychotics and there was no exclusion criteria. Combination antipsychotic therapy is widely used as much as 70 prescriptions (72.16%) compared with the use of antipsychotics singly. Second-generation antipsychotic counted 14 prescriptions (14.43%) and first-generation antipsychotics of 13 prescriptions (13.41%). The average cost of antipsychotics required in a single visit for schizophrenic patients is Rp. 48.219,88. Keyword: Schizophrenia, Antipsychotic, Cost Analysis.
