Abstract
Geriatric is a person over the age of 60 years. Geriatric is a high-risk groups who have experiencing various health problems particular disease as stroke. Stroke is a cerebrovascular disease that caused disability and death all over the world. Non hemorrhagic stroke or known as ischemic stroke and causesd by the formation of thrombus or embolism that inhibits cerebral artery. This study was conducted to determine the cost of in ischemic stroke patients who underwent inpatient in RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung.This research is an research with prospective cross sectional design conducted in March – April 2018 at Inpatient Unit of RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung. The inclusion criteria of this study were ischemic stroke patients over the age of 60 years admitted to the hospital. From the data obtained then tested using kolmogorov smirnov to see the normality. And will be continued using the spearman.The results of this study can be concluded that the incidence of ischemic stroke as many as 51 patiens in men and 33 patiens in women. The total cost of an ischemic stroke patien for a medical were is Rp 10.051.613,00. The total therapeutic cost of ischemic stroke patients for the medication is Rp 52.65.911,00. The highest total cost required during treatment is Rp 5.715.769,00 and the lowest cost of maintenance is Rp 175.263,00. Normality test result during treatment will take cost sig= 0,000 (≤ 0,05), and the next correlation test during treatment sig= 0,531 ( 0,05) and r = 0,640 (≤ 0,05).
