Abstract
Chronic kidney disease is defined as a progressive loss of function of kidney occurring over several months to years and is characterized by the gradual replacement of normal kidney architecture with parenchymal fibrosis. High blood pressure is one of the causes of kidney disease. High blood pressure was occurs in patients with chronic kidney disease can increase progression of kidney failure and cause complications of new diseases, so the goals of using antihypertension is to control blood pressure so the development of kidney disease can be slowed. This study aims to determine the profile of antihypertensive use and the suitability of antihypertensive was used with the Clinical Practice Guide (PPK) of RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung. This study is a retrospective descriptive non-observational study. The population in this study were 47 patients who met the inclusion criteria. Data on antihypertensive use and out-patient visit data were obtained from the Medical Record Installation. All of the data, then analyzed by comparing antihypertensive use in out-patients with the Clinical Practice Guidelines (PPK) of RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung and KDIGO, KDOQI, NKF, PERKI, JNC, ISH guidelines as reference. The results was showed that the most widely used antihypetension in patients with chronic kidney disease of out-patient period January - March 2018 was Furosemide (10.74%), valsartan (9.39) and Nifedipine (5.37%). The suitability of the use antihypertensive drugs according the Clinical Practice Guide (PPK) of RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung is 94.8%.
